Mountain Valley Golf Course is a wonderful venue for any couple looking for their special day! The ceremony site was perfect and the view over Locust Lake was a wonderful back drop. The cocktail hour and reception site were modern, spacious and our guests loved it! ​

The Mountain Valley Wedding Experience

Your wedding day begins at the Clubhouse, in the private upstairs bridal suite. With your bridesmaids, you enjoy breakfast and drinks served by our experienced staff.  Soon your guests will gather at the Overlook, an amazing outdoor ceremony location with a 20 mile view of the lake and the mountains beyond. You’re shuttled to the Overlook by our team and the ceremony is perfect. Your guests are in awe of the scenery and natural beauty.  It all looks amazing in your photos, and your guests enjoy a wonderful cocktail hour at the Overlook with gourmet hors d’oeuvres from our kitchen. Everything at the Clubhouse is set as the guests enter. Many of them will gravitate to the sunset deck and large stone bar that flow from the dancing and dining space inside.  It looks exactly as you imagined, with gold Chiavari chairs and beautiful linens from our collection.  The reception exceeds your expectations, as does the food. and you have the night of your life dancing with your friends and family.

Mountain Valley is a top location for east coast destination weddings from areas including Philadelphia, Scranton, Wilkes barre, The Lehigh Valley, New Jersey, Long Island, New York City, Upstate New York, Northern Virginia and beyond.  Families traveling from around the eastern United States can easily meet at our venue which is conveniently located close to route 81 near Pottsville, PA.

Our venue also features two 18-hole golf courses “The Mountain and The valley”.  Enjoy a complimentary round for four included with your wedding package, or work with us to plan your own wedding weekend golf outing!  Wedding guests also enjoy the elevated bar food, outdoor seating and fun atmosphere at our restaurant and sports bar, The Players Club Bar and Grill.
